Financial Planning

Creating an exit plan - There are very few certain things in life and running a business, but there is one absolute fact. Whether it is a carefully planned exit or the result of fate, someday you will leave your business. Now is the time to plan your exit. Let us help you to create an exit plan that will preserve the value of the company, provide a means to exchange that value for money with the least tax consequences possible and to meet personal and family needs by providing security and continuity to your business and for your family either upon your planned departure or if disaster strikes...upon your death or disability.
Retirement Plans - Consider a simple retirement plan, for companies with less than 100 employees and no other qualified plan, you may set up a Savings Incentive Match Plan for Employees (SIMPLE) into which an employee may contribute up to $10,500 per year if you're under 50 years old and $13,000 a year if you're over 50 in 2008. This limit will increase further each year with the cost of living. You, as employer, are required to make matching contributions.
Regular or Roth IRA - Although nondeductible IRAs are not as advantageous as deductible IRAs, you still receive the benefits of tax-deferred income. Note, the income thresholds to qualify for making deductible IRA contributions, even if you or your spouse is an active participantin an employer plan, are increasing.
Tax check-up - Don't forget to have a tax check-up, make sure that you take every available deduction.

Cash Notes Network

Whether you need money to pay bills, buy a home, fund an education or just want to go on that dream vacation, there has never been an easier or faster way to cash out of your note, settlement or monthly payment headache. Almost every note can be sold, even notes where the payments are late or not being made. There are thousands of notes out there that could be turned into cash! Wouldnt you rather have the cash now?
Every note, mortgage, trust deed, land contract or contract for deed has a unique market value. The market value of a note is the highest cash price an informed and proactive seller can sell it for on the open market. The market value of a note will be something less than the outstanding principal balance remaining on it. The market value of a note is inversely related to the general interest rate environment.
There are a number of other important factors that determine the market value of a note:
  • Type of property.
  • Amount of owners equity.
  • Deeds of Trust.
  • Current note balance.
  • Land Contracts.
  • Interest rate.
  • Number of payments made and number of payments remaining.
  • The general credit history of the borrower.
Please complete the Cash Note Questionaire and Layne or a representative of Sterett Services will contact you to discuss your options!
